THE CHALLENGE
Western Digital’s marketing site needed a strategic refresh of its homepage carousel, but lacked a cohesive UX process and internal direction to move it forward. The project required both clarity of vision and cross-functional coordination—from marketing stakeholders to product and engineering teams.
THE SOLUTION
I was hired to build and lead a newly formed UI/UX team embedded within the Marketing group. We focused on elevating the digital experience and pushing for clarity and consistency across touchpoints.
- Conducted user and stakeholder audits to identify core needs
- Crafted a UX strategy to realign the carousel experience with user behavior and business goals
- Led project planning, team assignments, and design efforts
- Presented a progress update to Senior Leadership, articulating vision, milestones, and next steps
