TEAM SIZZLE REEL TO ADDY AWARD-WINNING B2B SERIES
At VSP Vision Care I ran a 9-person digital team that was responsible for video, photography, and online marketing content. We were part of the the larger 40-person in-house agency called “Agency West.” We supported VSP’s 5 LOBs: vision insurance, eyeconic.com (e-commerce), Visionworks (brick-and-mortar), eyewear manufacturing (Marchon), and VSP Ventures (VC).
TEAM SIZZLE REEL
This was our sizzle reel promoting our capabilities and services as the company grew and acquired Visionworks with over 700 optical stores.
DR NETWORK SERIES
Conceived and produced a B2C video series promoting the Doctor Network as the main feature. We partnered with our client from ideation, scripts, and storyboards to talent options and final edit.
ADDY AWARD: 2019
EYES OF HOPE, PSA
At VSP Vision Care we (internal 9-person video team) were asked to conceive and produce a video promoting VSP’s Eyes of Hope. A charity platform that supports local communities around the United States in their time of need.
We developed the narrative, sourced the actors and extra crew, produced, shot, and edited the 60-second spot. 4-day, 5-location production with a 16-person crew (shown in photo).
Client was ecstatic and we won an ADDY Award.
ADDY AWARD: 2019
MS AWARENESS MONTH
We are were asked to conceive and produce a video fpr MS Awareness month. Our client wanted to showcase that certain disease and issues can be identified early through eye exams. And they had a person (Janna) with a compelling story.
We produced “Janna’s Story” which turned out to be the highest performing VSP video (2M views, 4x goal, 10% of viewers watched 75% of the video), surpassing all industry standards.
AR EVENT
The digital team at VSP Vision Care wanted to expand their skills and work on some new technology projects. In this case, showing how Augmented Reality (AR) works and how the company could incorporate AR for trade shows, training or the Innovation Center.
After some hard lobbying by me, we were given the go-ahead to produce an event (EGGSTRAVAGANZA!), and document it, to showcase our ability to create an experience.
We invited 76 people to a treasure hunt, served lunch, offered prizes, and …invited the Easter Bunny. The team was over-the-moon that I pushed hard to produce this event. Lots of good will was created with the team, Marketing, and internal clients. Most satisfying: the team member that was our tech guru (and AR “expert”) hugged me afterwards and choked-up thanking me.
HOLIDAY VIDEO
Every year we get to conceive and produce the annual Holiday Video. Ironically, It’s a very stressful production, since all LOBs are involved and everyone has a stake. This year we conceived on producing a retro experience playing off of the Lite-Brite toy. ADDY award for Special Effects.

SPYDER PRODUCT LAUNCH
We produced three Spyder eyewear launch videos for our internal client out of NY. This is the main product video that we produced, shot (all around NorCal), and edited. With supplemental video from Spyder influencers and Getty.
It is an early iteration with me riding my mountain bike. Note to self: Don’t wear POC apparel to a Spyder shoot! My footage got cut from the final version.
SHiFT-19 EVENT CAMPAIGN
Every year the video team gets sent to Scottsdale for a major 3-day event where we capture presentations, interviews, social events, and b-roll to produce an event recap for our marketing client.
We also help produce the visual identity for each year, all presentations, the event’s video intro and outro, and any motion graphics that might be necessary.

JOS A BANK PRODUCT LAUNCH
We were asked to produce a promotional product video for a new eyewear line for Jos. A. Bank and Tailored Brands. We decided on a Behind-The-Scenes shoot and produced the event at the Tailored Brands’ Bay Area studio.
