THE CHALLENGE
VSP’s in-house video team was tasked with promoting Eyes of Hope, a charitable initiative that provides vision care and resources to underserved communities across the U.S. The goal was to tell an emotionally compelling story that would elevate awareness, humanize the brand, and strengthen corporate social responsibility efforts.
THE SOLUTION
I led the team in developing a heartfelt, 60-second narrative that captured the mission and emotional impact of Eyes of Hope. From initial concept and scriptwriting to casting and location production, we handled everything in-house.
The production spanned 4 days and 5 locations with a 16-person crew. We focused on authenticity and storytelling to build trust and connection with the audience.
THE OUTCOME
- Produced a powerful, emotionally resonant brand film that moved internal and external stakeholders
- Strengthened VSP’s reputation as a purpose-driven organization
- Delivered a polished, broadcast-quality piece with limited resources and a tight timeline
- Won an ADDY Award (2019) for excellence in branded content and storytelling
